Gorgeous - but the brass is less "aged"

Yes, I recommend this
I bought three of these for hallway upstairs, downstairs, and utility. I find M&S lighting to be very good quality for the price and this was no exception. However, I have a few other "aged brass" lights from M&S and these are a bit less "aged" than the others. The metal is a bit shiner and yellower. It's not a huge issue.
